Dermasweep

DermaSweep™ MD Multi-Level Skin Resurfacing System
This revolutionary system, available only to licensed medical
practitioners, combines precision brush tip exfoliation, topical solutions and variable vacuum pressure for the most precise, efficacious and comfortable skin treatments available.

Dermasweep features a closed system with a variable level vacuum
pump that gently lifts the skin as our bristles "sweep away" the dead
layer of skin in a precise and controlled manner. The patent pending
bristle tips fully eliminate the mess and hazards associated with
traditional crystal systems.

Further, these polyester or nylon bristles prevent the build up of keratin
on the wand that has been a problem with other particle-free systems.
DermaSweep enables airflow through the bristles to allow the skin to be
gently drawn into the bristle for a more effective and less irritating
exfoliation. The innovative, efficient use of vacuum pressure and bristles
are then customized for each treatment depending on skin type, desired
level of exfoliation and results.

DermaSweep results in a clean, consistently effective treatment and
patients see a noticeable skin improvement with fewer treatments and
improved results even with the first treatment.

What is microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a skin-revitalizing treatment that helps repair skin that is damaged from the sun, scars, acne and the unwanted effects of aging.

How does DermaSweep work?

DermaSweep features a closed system with a variable level vacuum pump that gently lifts the skin surface as the device "sweeps away" the dead layer of skin in a precise and controlled manner. The skin is left smoother as the vacuum action of the wand stimulates blood flow and cleans the pores. The increased blood flow encourages collagen formation thus firming and toning the epidermis.
The polyester or nylon bristle tips fully eliminate the mess and hazards associated with traditional crystal systems.

What skin conditions does DermaSweep treat?
• Reducing early aging lines
• Sun-damaged skin / photo damage
• Melasma (irregular brown patches)
• Revitalize dull skin
• Reduction of fine lines
• Hyper-pigmentation (brown patches and age spots)
• Improve and control acne

Is the treatment painful or come with side effects?
The treatment is painless. The revolutionary, patent-pending bristle tip technology causes less irritation to the skin while at the same time allowing a more comfortable, aggressive and rejuvenating treatment. You may feel mild tightening or tingling after exfoliation but the skin will feel smooth.

What will my skin look after treatment?
Your skin will be smoother after the first treatment. Hyper-pigmentation, acne scars, fine lines, and stretch-marks will lessen gradually over a series of microdermabrasion treatments.

When will I see results?
Your skin will have a warm, pinkish glow that may last up to 30 minutes. A sunblock is essential to use afterwardsIt is recommended to avoid sun exposure and tanning for a few days.

How long will the results last?
Lasting and more significant results will occur after 4 to 6 treatments spaced over 2-4 weeks apart.

Will I miss work or need to stay indoors?
You can return to your normal activities immediately after your treatment. However, it is advisable to avoid direct sun exposure for at least a few days after your treatment.

What will I do after the treatment?
A home skincare regime will be recommended to maintain the results of your treatment. Periodic maintenance microdermabrasion treatments will help to maintain your results.
