Results Now. Results Forever.

What if there were a treatment that could slow down the aging clock and keep you forever young?

Scientific evidence demonstrates regular maintenance treatments using Fotofacial or Forever Young BBL functionally rejuvenates skin and delays skin aging.

Treatment Overview

BBL™ broadband light innovative technology treats conditions associated with aging, active life-styles and sun damage. BBL broadband light energy allows your physician to precisely treat fine wrinkles, age & sun spots, small facial veins and several other skin blemishes. Forever Young BBL is a special technique used with the BBL that removes unwanted brown and red areas while stimulating new collagen and elastin to replace the sun damaged areas.  The net effect of this treatment is a brighter face (minimizing red lines and brown spots) and slowing down of collagen and elastin breakdown in your skin, minimizing sagging skin and volume loss.  The end result is a slowdown in skin aging.  This has been scientifically evaluated by pathology, blinded studies and scientific data by a well known and respected dermatologist in California, Patrick Bitter, MD.

How It Works

The light energy delivered by the BBL™ will gently heat up the upper layers of your skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas will stimulate your skin cells to generate new collagen. This will help restore your skin to its natural beauty, blending its natural colors and making it smoother, vibrant and younger looking. In addition the photothermal energy will target and eliminate many of the fine vessels that cause redness and the unwanted melanin responsible for pigmented lesions.

A Forever Young BBL treatment, previously known as Fotofacial, is treatment with 3-4 separate filters. Each filter has a different target in the skin.  Pass 1 and 2 target the unwanted pigment, and redness, improving skin tone and textures resulting in a youthful bright face.  A third pass with Wrinklelite stimulates collagen and elastin which is naturally lost over time.  A pass with SkinTyte can be added to minimizing sagging skin.  Visible benefits are noted after 5 initial monthly treatments.  Maintenance treatments are recommended every 3-6 months to slow down skin aging.

The Evidence

Pathology:  under the microscope, the changes associated with sun damage are reversed and collagen and elastin replace the damaged dermis.  Large dilated blood vessels become normal size.

Blinded study: Dermatologists guessed the ages of patients based on photos without knowing whether any treatment had been performed.  The dermatologists were accurate on the before treatment pictures.  In the after treatment pictures (treatment over 8 years), the dermatologist rated the patients to be 9 years younger than their actual age.  Visually, the treated patients looked younger. See study below.

Scientific data:  Different proteins are active in young skin vs older skin.  Genetic mRNA evidence shows a reversal to a more youthful protein profile after a series of treatment with the Forever Young BBL technique.  See study below.

Groundbreaking Study on Forever Young BBL from Stanford University

Rejuvenation of Gene Expression Pattern of Aged Human Skin by Broadband Light Treatment: A Pilot Study

First study to demonstrate Forever Young BBL treatments can restore gene expression pattern of aged human skin to resemble young skin.

Results:
Over 1,000 genes became "rejuvenated" to be more like youthful skin resulting in decreased elastosis and more uniform collagen deposition; leading to improvements in fine wrinkles and pigmentation.

Forever Young BBL is Shown to Halt the Visible Signs of Aging

Long Term Evaluation of the Anti-Aging Effects of BroadBand Light Therapy

The first long-term, visual and clinical evaluation of Forever Young BBL treatments.

Blinded panel of physician evaluators determined Forever Young BBL treated patients appeared 9 years younger than their actual age.

Results:
"Patients who maintain a regular regimen of Forever Young BBL treatments annually can reduce and delay the long term signs of skin aging in a way that looks very natural."
