Cosmetic Dermatology

We will advise you on skin care products or procedures that will improve your skin, whether you want to improve wrinkles, sun spots, the texture or tone of your skin.  First, review our website for general information. You may also visit our in-house cosmetic education room anytime during office hours;  no appointment is necessary. In our patient education room, you can view videos that show before and after pictures of our different products and procedures.  You can then make an appointment with our esthetician for custom recommendations for your skin, or learn how to optimize your skin care regimen. Our physicians are always available to answer any further questions that you may have, as your care is always under their direct supervision.

Photo and Natural Aging
Photo and natural aging occur through many mechanisms. Skin tone, color and texture are compromised by exposure to sun and tanning beds. Time induced volume and bone loss occurs, resulting in sunken in cheeks, eyes, mouth corners, etc with sagging skin and deep wrinkles as a result. Overactive muscle activity leads to upper face wrinkles. This can all be improved by topical skin care regimens (DSC Line, Obagi), laser, fillers (Juvederm) and Botox.

DSC offers a skin aging analysis with photos to anyone who schedules a consultation with our esthetician ($75 fee to be credited to any product or procedure purchased).

We provide medical care and cosmetic services in a professional setting. Our cosmetic services are recommended by your physician who knows how to access your skin and choose the optimal treatments for the improvement that you desire. Our esthetician can perform a microdermabrasion, chemical peel an intense pulse light treatment or light laser peel after a consultation with your physician. Our physicians are always immediately available for any questions or concerns that you may have while in the office. Physicians perform all injection procedures including Botox, Juvederm and sclerotherapy and deeper laser treatments.

We do not offer facials, massages, makeup consultations and other similar services.

Consultation Policy
All consultations require a $75 fee. If you chose to proceed with the procedure, this fee will be credited toward your charges. A deposit is required to reserve a procedure time. Any missed appointments for the procedure will result in loss of your deposit. Please give at least 24 hours notice if you cannot make your appointment to avoid this.
